On this show, we are honored to have a discussion with Dr. Stephen Eccher, a history professor at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Eccher received his PhD. from the University of St. Andrews, in St. Andrews, Scottland in Reformation Studies. Dr. Eccher teaches church history at the Seminary, and he does it with style with a variety of Jordans.
This month is the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation and we wanted to spend some time asking what does the reformation mean for us today? We ask the question, what does the Reformation have to do with modern Reformed Theology? Most "reformed theologians" hold to several different traditions. Do these traditions come from the Reformation? Do they define "reformed theology?" This was great conversation and very eye-opening.
On the show we had the privilege of drinking Crux Coffee, given to us by our friend Anthony. It is a dark strong coffee. Too Strong for Bob, he needed a lot of cream!
