Laymen's Cup Podcast

The Laymen are four men, who love God first, then their wives and children. We have a deep desire to study God’s Word and to live on mission for him. As we study God’s Word, we love to break it down and discuss it in a way that everyone can understand. We are not scholars, even though some of us wish we were. We are normal men with normal jobs trying to figure out how to Glorify God and live a life on mission for him.

The Laymen continue our discussion with Dr. Chris Griggs.  This is a discussion on the type of "gates" that determines what a preacher's speaks about. A good question is raised in the discussion. When you leave church on Sunday morning, what are thinking about, other than food? Are you thinking about how to apply the steps of how to be a better father or mother, are you thinking about how to apply the seven steps to financial freedom, or are you think about Jesus' grace and mercy. Are you focused on the cross?

They Laymen would like to thank you for your support. We are continuing to grow every week. It is our mission to glorify Christ in all that we do, and present the Gospel in a way that it engages you. That being said, please send us your comments and questions. You can do it several ways. First, you can leave a comment here, or you can email us at Laymenscup@gmail.com. You can also leave a comment on iTunes. There, the more 5 star reviews we have the better, and we will start getting more exposure on iTunes.

On the show Shaun discussed his fundraiser. He is selling Just Love Coffee to raise money for the legal fees for his adoption. The coffee the Laymen drank on show is Ethiopian Sidamo. It says on the back that is has Blueberry notes in it. It is a unique coffee with a full body flavor. If you would like to get some, you can go here. Shaun's Coffee Shop.

Please go and check out our Support Page. Again, our mission is to share the Gospel with as many people as possible, but to have fun as we do it as well. It takes a lot of support and time to put this show on every week. If you feel led, this page will tell you the different ways to support us.

Thank you for listening. Please pray for us, as we are praying for you.
