It has started. Now that it has started, it will not stop for an entire year. It is not safe to turn on your radio or tv until the first Tuesday of November, 2016. Of course I'm talking Political ads. Every time we turn on the radio or television there is a commercial or a discussion about politics. During this season of political ads many questions come up. Should I vote? If I vote, will my vote matter? Who should I vote for? These are the questions that the Laymen discuss in this Episode.
As a group, we believe that it is your duty as a Christian to vote. We believe this because Romans 13:1 tells us that we are to be subject to our government. We are subject to our government by obeying laws. We have a unique opportunity to be a part of our government through the process of voting. There is a caveat to our obligation, do not vote unless you are informed. It is dangerous to vote without knowing who and what you are voting for. We encourage our listeners to be informed by doing the research on the candidates and the issues they discuss. Find out what you believe, and more importantly why you believe it.
